Port and Deep Sea Handling

YINSON designs, owns and operates equipment and facilities to provide its customised solutions for customers, ports and jetties. We have experience in anchorage operations of lightering and loading for cargoes in bulk and for vessels of all types. With Yinson’s vast experience in port management, we have been awarded a contract to manage the operation of Phu My port in Vung Tau, Vietnam and is one of the first to introduce the hooklift system for efficient clearing of bulk
cargo which eventually reduces vessel laytime.

The Phu My port is one of the few ports in the south of Vietnam that can berth vessels up to 70,000 deadweight tons. The port handles cargos from soft commodities such as wheat soya bean to metals such as steel scrap and billets.
